Job Description:

Experienced Project Manager – Network & Cabling Infrastructure

We are seeking experienced Project Managers with a strong background in network cabling and active network infrastructure. This role is ideal for professionals who have worked on the tools and progressed into project management, or those who have managed cabling and network projects for several years. You will be responsible for delivering multiple projects to time, budget, and customer expectations while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

End-to-end ownership of projects, including planning, monitoring, reporting, and delivery.
Lead and manage project teams, clearly defining roles and responsibilities.
Survey, design, and deliver network cabling and active network solutions to customer requirements.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
Proactively identify, manage, and mitigate project risks.
Produce QHSE Risk Assessments and Method Statements; ensure safe systems of work are implemented.
Collaborate with QHSE and other stakeholders to maintain high health & safety standards.
Required Experience & Qualifications

Proven track record of managing and delivering IT infrastructure projects, specifically network cabling, fibre, copper, and active network systems.
Experience as a hands-on cabling/electrical technician who progressed to PM, or as a Project Manager with several years of network cabling project experience.
Familiarity with network cabling design across active and passive infrastructure.
Certification in project management methodology (e.g., PRINCE2) is advantageous but not essential.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and project management software tools.
Security clearance is desirable, or willingness to obtain.
Key Skills

Budget, margin, and revenue management with accurate forecasting.
Resource planning and vendor management.
End-to-end project lifecycle management.
Knowledge of local and central government secure environments and JSP standards for fibre and copper network cabling is a plus.
Results-driven and customer-focused approach.
